Shipping policy

At Avicenna Pharmaceutical, we are committed to delivering medical and pharmaceutical products safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with federal and state regulations. Please review our shipping policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Order Processing Times

Most orders are processed within:

  • 1–2 business days for in-stock items

  • Same-day processing for urgent medical needs (when possible)

Orders placed after 3 PM CST will begin processing the next business day.
Orders are not processed on weekends or federal holidays.

2. Shipping Methods

We ship through trusted carriers such as:

  • UPS

  • FedEx

  • USPS (limited categories)

  • Specialty couriers for cold-chain items

Shipping options displayed at checkout are based on:

  • Product type

  • Weight

  • Temperature requirements

  • Destination

  • Regulatory restrictions

3. Temperature-Sensitive & Cold-Chain Products

Items requiring temperature control (e.g., vaccines, extracts, diagnostics) will be shipped in:

  • Insulated coolers

  • Gel ice packs or dry ice (as required)

  • Same-day or overnight delivery when necessary

Cold-chain items MUST be received immediately upon delivery to maintain product integrity.
These products are non-returnable.

4. Shipping Restrictions

Due to federal and state laws:

  • Some pharmaceutical items cannot be shipped to certain states

  • Controlled substances require additional verification

  • Products may require signature upon delivery

  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes for regulated items

  • International shipping is not available at this time

Avicenna Pharmaceutical reserves the right to cancel orders that cannot legally be shipped.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are calculated based on:

  • Weight

  • Package size

  • Destination

  • Temperature requirements

  • Carrier fees

Shipping charges are displayed at checkout and are non-refundable.

6. Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on the carrier and destination:

  • Standard Ground: 1–5 business days

  • 2-Day Air: 2 business days

  • Overnight: 1 business day

These times are estimates, not guarantees.
Delays caused by carriers, weather, or incorrect addresses are outside Avicenna’s control.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, a tracking number will be emailed to you.
You can follow your shipment in real time through the carrier’s website.

8. Delivery Issues

Please notify us within 48 hours if:

  • Your order is lost

  • Your package arrives damaged

  • An item is missing

  • The product was affected during transit

Provide photos when applicable.
We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue.

9. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address:

  • Additional shipping fees may apply

  • Reshipment will occur only after address verification

  • Cold-chain items cannot be reshipped and are non-refundable

  • Receive temperature-sensitive shipments immediately

Failure to follow proper handling may void any replacement or refund eligibility.
